Calleen Cordero and the handmade craftsmanship

Calleen began her journey in the shoe and fashion industry at Marin County, California, where she started working -- she was only 16 at the time -- in a luxury shoes’ boutique. Absorbed and driven by her passion for handcrafted footwear, she started to travel around Europe, where she met several designers and visited Italian shoe factories.

In 1999, she began designing her own shoe line, Calleen Cordero, and set up her company in North Hollywood, with a firm vision: to bring the traditional art of shoe-making into the new generation, while keeping the authenticity and comfort of handcrafted shoes.

Calleen Cordero’s trademarks are fine materials, naturally treated leathers and studs mounted on each shoe one by one.
