The exclusive Manolo by Castaner collection

What happens when the wizard of espadrillas meets the heels’ genius? With the limited edition “Castaner by Manolo Blahnik”, starts the collaboration between two great designers, glued together by the same Spanish roots and a passion for craftsmanship.

The project started with the 90th anniversary of the Castaner brand and it is part of the Spring/Summer 2018 Pre-Collection. The fabrics used are the traditional jute and linen, which have set espadrillas apart. Moreover, the legendary ankle straps revert our memory to the traditional models. What changes significantly is the shoe shape, where a pointed toe box takes the place of the traditional broad round one, and a spool heel is fitted in the heeled version.

The jute, placed on the counter in its natural color, matches with the black and beige colors in a simple, but refined fashion.
